Exercise as medicine, built around your condition.

Living with a chronic condition doesn't mean your options for feeling stronger are limited. We build programs around your diagnosis, your energy levels, and your goals.

Isabelle McMullen, Exercise Physiologist, coaching a client at the Rise Rehab Group Burleigh Heads clinic
Who It's For

We work with the full picture.

Chronic conditions rarely show up alone. We take the time to understand your whole health picture, not just the diagnosis on the referral.

What To Expect

A program that moves with you.

1
Step One

Understand

We start by understanding your condition, your energy levels, your history with exercise, and what a good day and a hard day both look like for you.

2
Step Two

Build

We build a program that fits your capacity as it is now, not as we'd like it to be. It flexes with flare-ups, fatigue, and good weeks alike.

3
Step Three

Progress

We reassess regularly and adjust together, tracking real markers of progress like energy, function, and confidence, not just numbers.

Our Experience

Clinical expertise, lived understanding.

Zak and Isabelle both work across every service we offer. Here's their experience and approach to care.

Zak Bowdler, Accredited Exercise Physiologist at Rise Rehab Group

Zak Bowdler

Zak has worked with clients managing diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and mental health conditions, focusing on building sustainable habits rather than short-term fixes.

“Consistency beats intensity. Small, sustainable movement compounds into real change over time.”

Isabelle McMullen, Accredited Exercise Physiologist at Rise Rehab Group

Isabelle McMullen

Isabelle lives with lupus, cystic fibrosis, Type 1 diabetes, and is a kidney transplant recipient. She built her career around showing what's possible with the right support, not despite a condition, but alongside it.

“You are not your diagnosis. Movement is one of the most powerful tools we have to feel like ourselves again.”
